In a study conducted on 75 pediatric patients with recurrent upper respiratory tract affections, the efficacy of nebulized sodium hyaluronate, a humectant agent obtained from the reaction between hyaluronic acid and sodium, was evaluated.
Administered in combination with a saline solution, the nebulized treatment showed improvements in various clinical parameters compared to treatment with saline solution alone.
