Powder for oral solution. Symptomatic treatment of constipation. Works within 24-72 hours. Macrogol is an inert, water-soluble, high molecular weight polymer that has the ability to bind the water used for ingestion, retaining it in the feces. It rehydrates and softens the fecal mass and facilitates its evacuation. It accelerates intestinal transit by promoting peristalsis, combating constipation and preventing the formation of fecal impaction. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not lead to fluid and electrolyte imbalances, if taken with the indicated dose of liquid.
Instructions for use
Indicated for adults and children over 12 years of age. From 1 to 4 sachets per day. The dose should be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, to allow for regular evacuation of soft stools. The maximum necessary dose normally does not exceed 4 sachets per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (125 ml for each sachet) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if the minimum dose is to be taken (1 sachet per day). For larger doses, divide the intake between morning and evening. If no improvement is observed after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
