What it is and what it is used for
CORYFIN TOSSE SEDATIVO contains the active ingredient dropropizine, belonging to the class of cough suppressants, and is used to calm coughs.

Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short period of treatment.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not take CORYFIN TOSSE SEDATIVO
• If you are allergic to dropropizine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in paragraph 6);
• If your cough is accompanied by a lot of phlegm (bronchial hypersecretion) or you have difficulty clearing it (reduced mucociliary function);
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking CORYFIN TOSSE SEDATIVO.

Do not take CORYFIN TOSSE SEDATIVO for long periods of time.
Consult your doctor before taking CORYFIN TOSSE SEDATIVO if you suffer from kidney problems.

Children
CORYFIN TOSSE SEDATIVO should only be used in children under 6 years of age after consulting a doctor.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The following side effects have been rarely reported with the use of CORYFIN TOSSE SEDATIVO:
• nausea or other mild stomach or intestinal discomfort;
• weakness (tiredness), decreased normal activities (lethargy);
• headache and dizziness.

In these cases, stop treatment and inform your doctor.
