What it is and what it is used for
Reparil is an anti-inflammatory drug for topical skin use.

Reparil is used for minor trauma (joint and muscle pain resulting from trauma).

Contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use Reparil
• if you are allergic to the active ingredients or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
• on open lesions (wounds), mucous membranes, and skin areas treated with radiation.

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Reparil.

If you use this medicine, there is no risk of habituation (resistance to the action of the medicine) and dependence.
As this is a medicine for application to the skin, use this medicine externally only.

If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to salicylates, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine, as there is a greater risk of developing asthma attacks, local swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (Quincke's edema), or urticaria compared to other patients.
Avoid contact with eyes.

Do not use the medicine for prolonged periods, as medicines for cutaneous (skin) use can give rise to sensitisation phenomena.

This medicine contains lavender oil and bitter orange flower oil with d-limonene, farnesol, and linalool as fragrances. These substances may cause allergic reactions.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

In rare cases, hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions may occur, such as redness, desquamation (shedding of the top layer of skin), skin dehydration, rash, erythema, dermatitis, itching, urticaria.

The topical application of medicines containing salicylate, especially if applied to large skin areas, can cause the onset of systemic side effects affecting a specific organ (e.g., hepatic, renal, or gastrointestinal side effects) or the entire body (e.g., hypersensitivity reactions).

Adhering to the instructions in the leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
