Description
Iperilla aerosol is a medical device for inhalatory use, consisting of a hypertonic solution based on dry plant extracts of Melissa officinalis, Perilla frutescens, and wild thyme in combination with hyaluronic acid.
Iperilla aerosol is indicated to counteract symptoms resulting from alterations in the trophism of the respiratory epithelium such as cough, rhinorrhea, pain typical of flu syndromes, but also those related to external allergens. Underlying these conditions is a reduction in normal mucosal hydration and a consequent reduction in mucociliary clearance. This causes a vicious cycle that can lead to airway obstruction and susceptibility to viral and bacterial infections. Therefore, the nebulization of moisturizing substances, such as hyaluronic acid, is the correct therapeutic approach that restores the level of hydration, providing relief to irritated mucosa. The proper hypertonicity of the solution also contributes to hydration: this allows for the liquefaction and removal of mucus. The selected plant extracts have an antioxidant and soothing action, contributing to the restoration of the physiological balance of the respiratory mucous membranes.
The nebulization of Iperilla aerosol is also optimal for cleaning the nasal cavity and upper respiratory tract. Iperilla aerosol is a sterile, preservative-free, and ready-to-use solution.

Ingredients
Dry extract of Melissa officinalis (standardized to rosmarinic acid ≥ 12%), dry extract of Perilla frutescens (standardized to polyphenols ≥ 2.5%), dry extract of Thymus serpyllum, hyaluronic acid, sodium chloride, monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, maltodextrin, anhydrous colloidal silica, purified water q.s. to 100 ml.

Instructions for use
Nebulize one 3 ml vial once or twice a day or as prescribed by a doctor, without diluting it. The product can be used with all types of aerosol devices (piston, ultrasonic).
Ready-to-use solution, do not dilute.
The solution is for single use.
Before use, blow your nose.
Bend the single-dose container in both directions and detach it from the strip of 5 containers to which it is sealed.
Gently shake the single-dose container before use.
Twist and break the cap of the container.
Apply moderate pressure on the walls of the single-dose container, release the solution in the indicated quantity and pour it into the nebulizer ampoule (aerosol device).
The product can be used with both piston and ultrasonic aerosol devices.
During aerosol use, breathe regularly; the duration is approximately 5-6 minutes.
Do not use any remaining solution in the vial and/or in the nebulizer ampoule after use.

Warnings
The product is for inhalatory use only; do not ingest or use other than as indicated.
Do not use the product if the package is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact.
Consult a doctor for use in pediatric age and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Do not use below 2 years of age, as in this age group, the physiological characteristics of the respiratory tract lead to a limited capacity for bronchial mucus drainage.
Before using the device, it is advisable to wash hands thoroughly.
When pouring into the ampoule, do not touch other surfaces with the dispensing end of the container.
Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even a single component of the formulation.
In case of discomfort such as bronchospasm, cough, or any perception of irritation during use, immediately stop the treatment and consult a doctor.
The administration of drugs by inhalation must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use the product after the expiry date on the package.
Once the container is opened, immediately pour out the contents and do not reuse any residual contents.
Do not disperse the container in the environment after use.
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Store unused vials inside the carton.
In case of any complaint or serious incident occurring in relation to the device, it is necessary to report the event to the manufacturer.

Storage
Do not store above 25°C.
Shelf life of unopened package: 36 months.
