Directions for use
Dosage: according to medical prescription, taking into account the patient's age, body weight, and their phenylalanine tolerance.
Take the prescribed amount in 3/4 daily doses, in addition to other foods allowed by the diet. It can also be taken as a cold drink, by initially dispersing the necessary powder in a small amount of water, then further diluting until the desired consistency and volume are obtained. Water or other permitted drinks, including flavored ones, can be used for dilution.
Once prepared, it is advisable to consume the drink within 1 hour.

Warnings
Afenil 2 must be used under medical supervision, by subjects with confirmed hyperphenylalaninemia, including phenylketonuria. Afenil 2 cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product may pose health risks if consumed by individuals who do not have the specific disorder for which it is indicated. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use intravenously.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and direct heat sources.
Shelf life unopened: 24 months.
After first opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
