Description
Alpha-lipoic acid, also known as Thioctic acid, is a powerful endogenous antioxidant and is capable of counteracting damage induced by free radicals that are formed in greater quantities under altered health conditions (oxidative stress) and that represent the main cause of cellular aging and reduced tissue functionality.
Alpha-lipoic acid is soluble in water and fats, therefore it acts as an antioxidant in both aqueous and lipid phases, a characteristic that allows it to perform this activity in different cellular areas: membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, mitochondria.
Alpha-lipoic acid also promotes the regeneration of other endogenous antioxidants such as Glutathione, vitamin C, and vitamin E.
It can be used in the treatment of:

Directions for use
It is recommended to take 1 tablet once a day for a period of not less than 45-60 days, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor.
The tablets should be taken on an empty stomach.

Store at room temperature.
