Amorolfine Sandoz 50 mg/ml medicated nail lacquer
Generic medicine

What it is and what it is used for
Amorolfine Sandoz is used for the treatment of fungal nail infections in adults.
It should only be used if the upper half or the sides of the nail are affected.
The active ingredient amorolfine prevents the growth of fungi and kills them.

Amorolfine Sandoz acts against a wide variety of fungi susceptible to amorolfine, such as yeasts, dermatophytes and molds. However, bacteria are not susceptible to amorolfine.
Consult your doctor if you do not notice any improvement or if your symptoms worsen after 3 months.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use Amorolfine Sandoz
• if you are allergic to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)

Warnings and precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Amorolfine Sandoz if you suffer from:

There is no experience yet in patients with inflammatory changes surrounding the nail, diabetes, poor blood circulation, malnutrition, alcohol abuse or in children and infants. Wear impermeable gloves while using organic solvents, otherwise the Amorolfine Sandoz layer on the nails will be removed.
