Description
The low-protein drink, from the APROTEN product line, is characterized by: low protein, sodium, phosphorus, and potassium content, which makes it suitable for the dietary management of renal failure (nephropathies); low tyrosine and phenylalanine content, which makes it suitable for the dietary management of metabolic aminoacidopathies (phenylketonuria, tyrosinemia); low protein content, which makes it suitable for the dietary management of Parkinson's disease (during Levodopa therapy). For patients undergoing Levodopa therapy, the degree of potential dysphagia and any malnutrition problems due to deficiency that may arise from protein restriction should be assessed.
Ingredients
Water, cream (milk) (7.3%), maltodextrins, lactose from milk (3.4%), demineralized milk whey powder (1.4%); emulsifiers: citric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, soy lecithin; natural flavors, vitamins (vitamin C, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, riboflavin, thiamine, folic acid, vitamin B12), mineral salts (sodium citrate, calcium phosphates, potassium chloride, calcium citrates).

Store in a dry place away from heat sources. Once opened, the product retains its characteristics for up to 3 days if properly resealed and placed immediately after use in the refrigerator at 4°C.
