Description
APROTEN's low-protein pasta line is characterized by a low content of protein, sodium, phosphorus, and potassium, making it suitable for the dietary management of kidney failure (nephropathies); a low content of tyrosine and phenylalanine, making it suitable for the dietary management of metabolic aminoacidopathies (phenylketonuria, tyrosinemia); and a low protein content, making it suitable for the dietary management of Parkinson's disease (in levodopa therapy). For patients undergoing levodopa therapy, the degree of dysphagia and any potential malnutrition issues that may arise from protein restriction should be assessed.
Ingredients
Corn starch, potato starch, chicory inulin; emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; safflower.
