Description
APROTEN low-protein pasta is characterized by: low protein, sodium, phosphorus, and potassium content, making it suitable for the dietary management of renal insufficiency (nephropathy); low tyrosine and phenylalanine content, making it suitable for the dietary management of metabolic aminoacidopathies (phenylketonuria, tyrosinemia); low protein content, making it suitable for the dietary management of Parkinson's disease (under Levodopa therapy). For patients on Levodopa therapy, the degree of possible dysphagia and any potential malnutrition problems that may arise from protein restriction should be evaluated.
Ingredients
Corn starch, potato starch, chicory inulin; emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids; safflower.
The product may contain traces of soy.

Cook APROTEN® pasta in plenty of boiling water (approximately 1 liter of water for 50 g of pasta). Once cooked, season the pasta immediately after draining. The cooking time given is indicative and may vary depending on personal habits and taste.
