Description
APROTEN low-protein pasta is characterized by its low content of proteins, sodium, phosphorus, and potassium, making it suitable for the dietary management of renal failure (nephropathies); its low content of tyrosine and phenylalanine makes it suitable for the dietary management of metabolic aminoacidopathies (phenylketonuria, tyrosinemia); its low protein content makes it suitable for the dietary management of Parkinson's disease (in levodopa therapy). For patients on levodopa therapy, the degree of any dysphagia and any issues of malnutrition due to deficiency that may arise under protein restriction conditions should be evaluated.
Ingredients
Corn starch, potato starch, chicory inulin; emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; safflower.
The product may contain traces of soy.

Instructions for use
Cook APROTEN® pasta in plenty of boiling water (about 1 liter of water for 50 g of pasta). Once cooked, season the pasta immediately after draining. The cooking time indicated is approximate and may vary according to personal habits and taste.
Cooking: 13-15 minutes.
Storage
Store in a dry place away from heat sources.
Shelf life of unopened package: 24 months.
