Description
A food for special medical purposes specifically developed for infants with frequent regurgitation episodes.
The formulation contains carob bean gum, a natural thickener which, by absorbing water, increases the viscosity of the reconstituted product and reduces its reflux. This is a key element for the dietary management of regurgitation.

Directions for use
1. Before preparation, wash hands and sterilize bottle, teat and ring.
2. Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle when lukewarm.
3. To obtain a level scoop, after filling it, remove excess powder using the practical leveller on the side of the package. Add level scoops of powder following the directions in the average feeding table.
4. Close the bottle, shake it for at least 10 seconds to dissolve the powder and wait about 5 minutes for the product to thicken.
5. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on your wrist.
It is recommended to prepare the product only at mealtime and consume it within half an hour. Do not reheat or boil the product once prepared. Do not reuse any leftover product.
Average feeding table
The table is indicative; the dosage can be modified according to the pediatrician's opinion, based on the infant's needs.
Aptamil AR1 is reconstituted at 13.6% by adding a level scoop of powder (approx. 4.6 g) per 30 ml of boiled water. Use only the scoop provided in the package.
Warnings
Follow the instructions carefully: improper preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the infant's health.
The product must be used under the supervision of a pediatrician and is indicated for infants up to 6 months of age. The product can be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally. Not suitable for premature infants.
Storage
Store in a dry place away from heat sources.
Once opened, the package must be properly resealed and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator).
The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
