Description
Aptamil ProExpert Pregomin SP is a dietary food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy and/or malabsorption. Aptamil Pregomin SP is an extensive whey protein hydrolysate, based on short-chain peptides, free amino acids and lipids consisting of 46% MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides) and enriched with LC-PUFAs and nucleotides.

Instructions for use
For the child's health, it is recommended to carefully follow the instructions for proper hygiene.
Before preparation, wash hands and sterilize bottle, teat, and ring.
Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of 70°C. To obtain a level scoop, after filling it, remove any excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife.
Add leveled scoops of powder according to the feeding table.
Close the bottle and shake to dissolve the powder.
Cool the bottle by placing it under running water, so that the milk reaches a temperature of about 40°C. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on your wrist.

The table is indicative: the dosage can be modified according to the pediatrician's opinion, based on the infant's needs.
The reconstitution of Aptamil Pregomin SP is 13.4% and is obtained by adding 1 level scoop of powder (approx. 4.5 g) for every 30 ml of water. Use only the scoop provided in the package.

Warnings
Carefully follow the instructions: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a health risk to the infant.
It is recommended to prepare the milk only at mealtime and consume it within half an hour.
Do not reheat or boil the product once prepared.
Do not reuse any leftover product.
The product must be used under the supervision of a pediatrician. The product is indicated for infants from birth up to 12 months and can be used as the sole source of nutrition for the first six months of life. The product should not be used parenterally.
Breast milk is the ideal food for babies. The WHO (World Health Organization) recommends exclusive breastfeeding for at least the first six months of life. It also suggests maintaining it as the main food until the first year, even after the introduction of complementary foods and, if possible, continuing breastfeeding even after the first year.

Storage
The sealed package should be stored in a dry place away from heat sources.
Once opened, the package must be properly resealed and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator).
The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
