Food supplement based on dry extract of Boswellia Serrata resin, titrated to 90% in boswellic acids.

Properties
Boswellia is a genus of plants belonging to the Burseraceae family. The resin exuding from the bark of this plant is composed of polysaccharides and boswellic acids. Boswellic acids exert selective inhibition on an enzyme capable of stimulating the production of endogenous substances that facilitate inflammatory processes, with a consequent reduction in their blood levels. Boswellia is used as an anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic remedy and is useful in the treatment of soft tissue rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, i.e., in all cases where an inflammatory process is underway.
