BBmilk

PDF

Description
A food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of premature and/or low birth weight infants at discharge, when breastfeeding is not possible.
The BBmilk PDF formulation is able to meet the specific nutritional needs of these infants, thanks to its high caloric density and its high protein content, to which whey proteins rich in alpha-lactalbumin and lactoferrin contribute.
It also contains MFGM (Milk Fat Globule Membrane), beta-palmitate, galactooligosaccharides (GOS) and fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and is supplemented with 2'-fucosyllactose (HMO), nucleotides and long-chain essential fatty acids of the omega-3 and omega-6 series (LC-PUFA).

Ingredients
Water, skimmed fresh pasteurized milk (29.1%), maltodextrins, vegetable oils (high oleic sunflower, soy, palm kernel, rapeseed, sunflower), lactose from milk, galactooligosaccharides from milk, beta-palmitate (from palm oil), MCT (medium-chain fatty acid triglycerides), whey protein concentrate from milk (contains MFGM - Milk fat globule membrane), concentrated whey proteins, concentrated hydrolyzed whey proteins, mineral salts (calcium hydrogen phosphate, calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, tripotassium citrate, trisodium citrate, potassium chloride, ferrous lactate, zinc sulfate, potassium iodide, magnesium carbonate, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, copper sulfate); emulsifier: soy lecithin; oil extracted from Mortierella alpina (contains AA), oil derived from the microalga Schizochytrium sp. (contains DHA), fructooligosaccharides, whey proteins rich in alpha-lactalbumin, 2’-fucosyllactose (2’-FL) (contains lactose), choline bitartrate, vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin D, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, niacin, biotin, vitamin B12, vitamin K, folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, vitamin B6), lactoferrin from milk, inositol, L-cysteine, FOS fermented from Lactobacillus paracasei CNCM I-5220*, taurine, nucleotides (cytidine-5’-monophosphate, adenosine-5’-monophosphate, uridine-5’-monophosphate, inosine-5’-monophosphate, guanosine-5’-monophosphate), L-carnitine, Lipocal microcapsules (tricalcium phosphate; emulsifier: soy lecithin), Lipofer microcapsules (corn starch, iron pyrophosphate; emulsifier: sunflower lecithin).
