Description
Sterile, preservative-free single-dose solution for nebulization for aerosol administration.
Inositol is a polyol known to be an important osmolite, as it has a great capacity to bind and retain significant quantities of water, especially in the tissues of the respiratory system. This lubricating and emollient capacity is useful in relieving symptoms related to inflammation such as difficulty swallowing, sensation of a foreign body in the throat, tickle, and dryness. Inositol lowers the surface tension of pulmonary surfactant, improving gas exchange at the level of the bronchial alveoli.

Ingredients
Each 3 ml ampoule contains: myo-inositol, purified water, sodium chloride.

Directions for use
1 ampoule of 3 ml is recommended, or, according to medical advice, up to a maximum of 3 ampoules per day.
Broncositol solution for nebulization is supplied in ampoules with a safety break-off.
To open the ampoule:
1. hold the ampoule with the tip pointing upwards
2. apply slight pressure, bend and break the ampoule at the neck.
Nebulize the contents of one ampoule using an aerosol therapy device.
It is recommended to use devices equipped with a compressor capable of ensuring a high outflow capacity (indicative value of at least 0.40 ml/minute).
Do not use ultrasonic devices.

Warnings
Do not use the device after the expiry date shown on the package.
Do not use the device if the packaging is open or damaged.
Do not re-sterilize.
The device is for single use only.
Do not freeze.
Once opened, the product must be used immediately.
Smoking compromises the protective effect of myo-inositol on bronchial and alveolar function.
It is advisable to use Broncositol after consulting your doctor.
Keep out of reach of children. No interactions between Broncositol and any concomitant therapies are currently known. However, it is advisable to consult your doctor before using the product in combination with other medical devices and medicines.
No contraindications to the use of Broncositol are currently known, nor have side effects been reported. However, the use of these products, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor to initiate appropriate therapy.
If unwanted effects not described in the leaflet are found, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
The product should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.

Storage
Store between 4° and 25° C.
The expiry date is indicated on the package.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package or if the package is open or damaged. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored.

Pack of 10 ampoules, 3 ml each.
