Description
Food supplement based on phytosterols, with fermented red rice (standardized in monacolin and ankaflavin), policosanols. Plant sterols help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g of plant sterols.

Ingredients
Bulking agents: dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, magnesium carbonate; phytosterols; Ankascin 568-P (red rice fermented with Monascus purpureus), policosanols; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; outer coating (coating agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, talc, shellac, polyethylene glycol; colorants: calcium carbonate, iron oxides and hydroxides).

Directions for use
It is recommended to take two tablets a day with a glass of water.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The product is intended exclusively for people who need to control their blood cholesterol levels. Patients undergoing hypocholesterolemic treatment should only consume the product under medical supervision. Do not use the product during pregnancy, breastfeeding, in children under 18 years of age, or in adults over 70 years of age. Its intake should be part of a varied and balanced diet, which includes the regular consumption of fruits and vegetables to help maintain carotenoid levels; consumption of more than 3 g/day of added plant sterols/stanols should be avoided. Total monacolins <3 mg/day. Do not use the product if you are taking cholesterol-lowering drugs, hypolipidemic drugs, or if you are taking other products containing fermented red rice. Do not consume a daily amount equal to or greater than 3 mg of monacolins from fermented red rice. Consult a doctor about the consumption of this product if you have health problems.
