Description
Sterile hypotonic ophthalmic emulsion without preservatives that appears as a milky liquid.
Cationorm is indicated for the treatment of dry eye symptoms such as pain, itching, burning, or a foreign body sensation (like sand or dust) in the eyes. These symptoms may be caused by external factors such as air conditioning, pollution, air travel, working on computer screens, refractive surgery, contact lens use, etc., or by conditions such as Meibomian gland dysfunction.
Cationorm hydrates, lubricates, and protects the ocular surface.

Instructions for use
Ophthalmic use. The dose is 1 drop in each eye, 1 to 4 times a day.
Wash your hands. When using the bottle for the first time, remove the safety ring from the cap by pulling the tab. Open the bottle by gently pulling the cap. Grip the body of the bottle between your thumb and forefinger. Avoid any contact between the tip of the bottle and your fingers. Tilt your head back. Gently pull down your lower eyelid and look up. Bring the bottle close to your eye and place the back of your hand on your forehead. Press gently to instill 1 drop into the eye and blink several times.
Do not touch the eye or eyelashes with the tip of the bottle.
Replace the cap on the bottle after each use.

Components
Mineral oils, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, tris-hydrochloride, tromethamine, cetalkonium chloride, purified water.

Warnings
Do not use Cationorm if you are allergic to any of the product's components.
This product is not intended for the treatment of other eye conditions. For more information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If other eye drops are used concurrently, it is advisable to wait at least 5 minutes between administrations of each eye drop. It is recommended to use Cationorm last.
Cationorm is compatible with all types of contact lenses.
In very rare cases, a temporary sensation of discomfort may occur, such as: eye irritation, eye pain, foreign body sensation in the eye, eye redness, itching sensation, excessive tearing, burning sensation, temporary blurred vision, eyelid inflammation, or eyelid edema. These symptoms are typical manifestations of dry eye syndrome associated with the pre-existing medical conditions of the patient's dry eye. If any undesirable effect not listed in the leaflet occurs, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if the bottle is damaged.

Storage
Store the bottle in its outer packaging at room temperature, below 30°C.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
