CE 0373 Medical device. Hypoallergenic, highly ventilated plaster. To be used primarily for wounds that have damaged the dermis and can only heal by secondary intention. It controls the microenvironment of the wound and creates a barrier with the outside. Highly suitable for small lesions, especially on delicate, sensitive, and irritated skin.
• Hypoallergenic adhesive, suitable for all skin types, including the delicate skin of children and the elderly. Thermoplastic rubber-based hot-melt adhesive, solvent-free. Free from natural rubber latex. The adhesives used (Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive) allow for easy removal, as well as optimal adhesion and resistance.
• Support in non-woven fabric of 100% polyester fibers, uni-directional stretch, white. The enlarged central portion allows for the use of a larger gauze pad and high sealing on the outer edges for great wound protection.
• Central pad with rounded corners to improve conformability to the wound. Non-woven gauze pad with microperforated non-stick film. The gauze contains 0.5% chlorhexidine digluconate with antibacterial activity.
