CE 0373 medical device. Hypoallergenic, super-aerated plaster. To be used mainly for wounds that have damaged the dermis and that can only heal by secondary intention. It has the function of keeping the wound microenvironment under control and creating a barrier with the outside. Optimally indicated for small lesions, especially in the presence of delicate, sensitive, and irritated skin.
• Hypoallergenic adhesive, suitable for all skin types, including the delicate skin of children and the elderly. Thermoplastic rubber-based hot-melt adhesive, solvent-free. Free of natural rubber latex. The adhesives used (Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive) allow easy removal, as well as optimal adhesion and resistance.
• Non-woven fabric backing in 100% polyester fibers, unidirectional stretch, white color. The enlarged central portion allows for the use of an oversized gauze and a high seal on the outer edges for great wound protection.
• Central pad with rounded corners to improve conformability to the wound. Non-woven gauze pad with micro-perforated non-stick film. The gauze contains 0.5% chlorhexidine digluconate with antibacterial activity.
