CLIN 4000

Class IIa medical device. Laxative powder for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated for chronic constipation; it is equally indicated for occasional irregular bowel movements. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens the stool, facilitating evacuation. In this way, it promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or urgent conditions. Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
It contains no excipients or flavourings.
Sugar-free.

Directions for use
Dissolve the powder by stirring it into any beverage. The content of one sachet (10 g) should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml for paediatric use) of any beverage, including hot ones, such as tea, herbal tea, milk, broth, or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the beverage. Drink the solution once reconstituted. It is recommended to take it between meals.
Due to its safety characteristics, it allows for wide dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing over 20 kg: 10 g (1 sachet), 1-3 times a day, according to individual response. For a more rapid effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (1 sachet) 1-2 times a day, even on alternate days, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be commensurate with body weight. Therefore, it is recommended to use the 200 g bottle of powder with a measuring spoon, which allows for customising the dose according to the child's actual needs until soft stools are achieved. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings
Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; perforation and/or gastrointestinal obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should be used under medical supervision.
No interactions with drugs are known, but it is advisable to take the product at least 2 hours apart from oral medications.
Occasionally, abdominal distension and/or nausea may occur, which resolve with continued use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, discontinue use of the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose, diarrhoea may occur, which resolves spontaneously upon discontinuation of the product.

Storage
Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place.

Format
The package contains 30 single-dose sachets. Each sachet contains 10 g of Macrogol 4000. Clin 4000 is also available in a 200 g bottle with a measuring spoon.
