Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of hyperhomocysteinemia.
The introduction of folic acid and vitamins B2, B6, B12 decreases plasma homocysteine levels, returning them to recommended reference values.
L5-MTHF, the biologically active form of folic acid, is able, through the transfer of a methyl group, to convert homocysteine back into methionine.
Ingredients
Betaine hydrochloride; bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, hydroxypropyl cellulose; zinc citrate; stabilizer: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), calcium L-5-methylfolate, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
