Periodontal astringent treatment gel

Description
Anti-plaque gel containing 0.50% chlorhexidine digluconate, Hamamelis virginiana and plant DNA/RNA.
It forms a protective film on the gums, helping to alleviate symptoms caused by oral mucosa irritations. Indicated for easily bleeding, swollen, and edematous gums, in cases of bleeding during home brushing, and also after dental procedures.
Chlorhexidine: its anti-plaque action works by both inhibiting bacterial development and by binding to the matrix, preventing its development and breaking it down. It is characterized by its remarkable promptness of action and high retention in the oral cavity. It maintains its anti-plaque and antibacterial activity for up to 8-12 hours.
Hamamelis virginiana: vasoconstrictor effect, used in the regeneration of tissues affected by small wounds, burns, and thus can be used in the treatment of reddened gums prone to bleeding.
PVP VA copolymer: forms a protective film on the gums, contributing, through mechanical action, to alleviating symptoms caused by oral mucosa irritations and preventing plaque formation and deposition.
Plant DNA/RNA: increases mucosal hydration, leading to improved gingival trophism.
Xylitol: natural, non-cariogenic sweetener. It does not alter plaque pH and has anti-cavity activity.

Directions for use
Apply a small amount of the product to the affected area with your finger or gently with the special CURASEPT SOFT toothbrush, twice a day for 7-10 days.
Do not rinse. For interdental application, use a small interdental brush.
In case of hypersensitivity reactions, contact your doctor.

Contains sodium metabisulfite.

Storage
Store away from heat sources.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after first opening: 12 months.
