DAFNEBEN
CE Class I Medical Device
CE Class I Medical Device
Indications
Dafneben helps restore the normal physiological endovaginal condition.
The internal application of the gelling agent Guar Gum forms a hydrogel on the vaginal mucosa a few minutes after the capsules dissolve.
This hydrogel adheres to the vaginal wall and, by creating a physical barrier against potentially pathogenic microorganisms, lubricates and moisturizes the vagina.
The probiotic microorganisms Lactobacilli (Lactobacillus Crispatus, Lactobacillus Jensenii, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, Lactobacillus Reuteri) that are disseminated in the vagina rebalance the internal microflora (Doderlein complex), enhancing the barrier effect of the hydrogel and promoting the restoration of the physiological pH (4.0-4.5), which is in itself a protective factor.
The prebiotic inulin is a substance that is not absorbed by the body, but represents selective nourishment for the microorganisms of the vaginal flora present in Dafneben, thus promoting their ability to colonize the vaginal ecosystem, with a reduction in the time needed to restore normal microflora.
Lactobacilli are normal non-pathogenic inhabitants of the vagina, so Dafneben can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The gelling agent Guar Gum is considered safe as it is widely used as a food additive (E 412).
Dafneben is not absorbed, leaves no residue, and is eliminated with the physiological exudates normally produced by the vaginal mucosa.
Ingredients
Each hard vegetable gelatin capsule contains: Guar gum, methyl-sulfonyl-methane (MSM), Lactobacillus Crispatus, Lactobacillus Jensenii, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, Lactobacillus Reuteri, Inulin, vegetable Magnesium stearate.
