Description
Immobilises the thumb in a resting position by opening the web space between the index finger and the thumb. The alignment of the bones limits the forces exerted on the trapeziometacarpal joint and relieves pain.
Wearing the EPITACT resting brace regularly at night and in all situations where the hand is not being used helps relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps limit the progression of rhizarthrosis.
Thanks to the anatomical reinforcements that allow it to perfectly adapt to the morphology of the hand, the rigid resting brace offers optimal comfort. Lightweight and ultra-thin, it feels like you're not wearing it.
Maintenance
Hand wash at 30°C with non-aggressive soap, without detergents or bleach. Rinse thoroughly. Squeeze dry. Do not dry near direct heat sources (radiator, sunlight). Do not use stain removers.

Warnings
In case of severe oedema: monitor the hand during use. Remove the device if it is too tight and obstructs circulation. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not apply creams or ointments before wearing the brace.
Do not use near flames or incandescent objects.
Do not use on skin lesions.
