Description
Immobilizes the thumb in a resting position, opening the space between the index finger and thumb. The alignment of the bones limits the forces exerted on the trapeziometacarpal joint and relieves pain.
Wearing the EPITACT resting brace regularly at night and in all situations when the hand is not being used helps relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps limit the progression of rhizarthrosis.
Thanks to the anatomical reinforcements that allow it to adapt perfectly to the morphology of the hand, the rigid resting brace offers optimal comfort. Lightweight and ultra-thin, it feels like you're not wearing it.
Care instructions
Hand wash at 30°C with non-aggressive soap, without detergents or bleach. Rinse well. Press to dry. Do not dry near direct heat sources (radiator, direct sunlight). Do not use stain removers.

Warnings
In case of severe edema: monitor the hand during use. Remove the device if it is too tight and hinders circulation. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not apply creams or ointments before wearing the brace.
Do not use near flames or incandescent objects.
Do not use on skin lesions.
