Description
Synthetic under-cast wadding. White padding and protection material in various sizes, wrapped in paper. White, non-irritating non-woven fabric. The fibrous mass maintains its sponginess and elasticity, allowing for perfect conformity and skin protection necessary after the pressure exerted by immobilization systems. The composition and strength of the material allow for circular application, and its tensile strength, in turn, allows it to be applied to particularly difficult areas (elbows, heels, etc.). Lenosoft's good synthetic properties are not lost when used for a long period. Due to its nature, the material has an adhesive effect that facilitates application, requiring only simple manual skill. Once applied, it maintains a smooth layer of uniform thickness, avoiding pressure points that could create local circulatory problems. Air permeable, Lenosoft compensates for temperature as the fibers do not absorb moisture, and in rigid bandaging, it facilitates plaster adhesion. Lenosoft is not a sterile product; once the paper wrapping is removed, it can be sterilized if necessary by steam, radiation, or ethylene oxide in accordance with EN 554, EN 552, and EN 550 regulations, respectively. It does not contain latex. Indicated for the protection of body parts exposed to plaster or other synthetic materials. It is also used as padding for zinc oxide bandaging or adhesive tapes. Combined with textile compresses or paraffin gauze compresses, Lenosoft acts as an air-permeable protector.
