Description
Single-use sterile gauze pads for periocular hygiene in adults and children.
Indicated for the mechanical removal of residues from eyelids and eyelashes in both adults and children, even in the presence of secretions resulting from inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds (even in the presence of skin flaking).
Its use is also particularly effective as an adjuvant to any pharmacological treatments, in inflammatory or allergic pathological conditions, or in the pre- and/or post-operative phase of surgical or laser interventions.
Silverix is also recommended for the daily treatment of the periocular area to remove cosmetic product residues from eyelids and eyelashes in individuals prone to the onset of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds, Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), rosacea, burning, itching or irritation, redness and swelling, and other conditions affecting the eyelid margins.
Due to its unique composition, Silverix can also be used by contact lens wearers.

Properties
Sodium hyaluronate is a fundamental component of the extracellular matrix of most tissues. Thanks to its ability to retain water and its film-forming power, it has a moisturizing and protective effect.
All components of Silverix are also useful for achieving optimal cleansing and emollient activity (chamomile and eyebright) while fully respecting the physiology of the periocular area, which is particularly delicate and sensitive.
The unique composition of Silverix is indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of inflammatory and infectious phenomena of various kinds in the periocular area, promoting the repair of damaged tissues.

How to use
After thoroughly cleaning your hands, open the sachet and remove the gauze pad. Apply the gauze pad to the eyelid area, gently passing it to allow adequate cleansing, removal of ocular secretions and any other type of deposits (smog, dust, powders, etc.).
In case of particularly persistent secretions or lacrimal duct obstruction, it is advisable to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (approx. 40 °C) and then use the gauze pad as a warm compress, gently massaging the area.
In case of inflammation, it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze pad to the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.

Composition
100% cotton gauze pad, soaked in 2.8 ml of the following solution: colloidal silver, sodium hyaluronate, Chamomilla recutita, Euphrasia officinalis, propylene glycol, phenylethyl alcohol, PEG-40 castor oil, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, wheat cocoamino acid, ammonium glycyrrhizate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, flavor, polysorbate 20, ethylhexylglycerin, water.

Warnings
The sterility of the product is guaranteed only if the sachet is intact.
In case of infectious conditions, do not use the same gauze pad for both eyes.
The gauze pad is single-use; re-use could be a vehicle for infections.
Keep out of reach of children.
For external use.
Discontinue treatment in case of evident irritation or hypersensitivity to the product.
