Description
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops is a sterile, physiological pH saline solution for ocular and periocular use.
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops is a valuable aid for the removal of periocular and ocular secretions in newborns from their first days of life, infants, and children (from 0 to 6 years of age). The product can also be used by children over 6 years of age, adolescents, adults, and the elderly (i.e., over 65 years).
The instillation of Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops softens and washes away secretions present on the ocular surface, in the conjunctival fornices, and on the eyelid margin.
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops has a diluting, decongestant, and moisturizing action by increasing tear volume.
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops contains distilled waters of euphrasia and echinacea, which contribute to the wetting effect thanks to their moisturizing action.
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops is compatible with soft contact lenses.
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops is indicated for:
- daily cleansing of the eyelids and eyes of newborns, infants, and children, and for cleansing the eyes even in cases of neonatal conjunctivitis;
- facilitating the removal of ocular secretions or dirt residues due to increased mucus viscosity or environmental factors such as dust, pollen, allergens, saltiness;
- facilitating the removal of ocular and periocular secretions in cases of eye inflammation and blepharitis;
- removing purulent secretions and for diluting the tear film in cases of lacrimal duct stenosis (frequent in newborns);
- in cases of amblyopia, for controlling the microbial load of the bandaged eye by diluting microorganisms due to increased tear volume. During treatment, the product is instilled in the interval between bandages and for wetting if a contact lens is present.
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops is also indicated for:
- alleviating sensations of eye discomfort and redness of the ocular mucosa caused by climatic factors such as wind, excessive heat, or excessive exposure to solar radiation;
- alleviating the sensation of discomfort caused by seasonal allergies and various forms of allergic conjunctivitis;
- reducing the sensation of burning, discomfort, or ocular itching due to dry eye caused by environmental factors;
- reducing the sensation of dry eye/foreign body following drug therapy.
Euphralia BABY HYGIENE eye drops can be used multiple times a day.

Components
Distilled water of Echinacea pallida, distilled water of Euphrasia officinalis, zinc sulfate heptahydrate, vitamin E TPGS, sodium chloride, citric acid monohydrate, tribasic sodium citrate dihydrate, ppi water.

Does not contain preservatives.

Storage
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature between 2°C and 30°C.
Store unused single-dose containers in the aluminum pouch.
Do not exceed the expiration date indicated on the package and on the single-dose containers if the package is intact.
