HiPP
AR
Description
A food for special medical purposes, indicated in cases of regurgitation and/or gastroesophageal reflux.
Episodes of reflux after feeding are normal in infants. However, some babies regurgitate a significant amount of milk or vomit after feeding. The special formula HiPP AR helps prevent these situations.
Thanks to the addition of locust bean gum, the special formula HiPP AR has a thicker consistency that aids meal digestion. In this way, milk does not return to the digestive tract after feeding (reflux) and the baby will regurgitate less.
Contains lactic ferments and Metafolin (calcium L-methylfolate).
The special medical purpose formula HiPP AR is indicated for the dietary management of gastroesophageal reflux disease in infants (0-12 months) under medical supervision. It can be used from birth as the sole source of nutrition for the baby and after 6 months as part of a mixed diet.
Ingredients
Skimmed milk, whey, vegetable oils (palm oil*, rapeseed oil, sunflower seeds), lactose; thickener: locust bean gum; fish oil, potassium chloride, choline, oil extracted from Mortierella alpina, calcium carbonate, calcium chloride, sodium citrate, L-phenylalanine, sodium selenite, L-tyrosine, zinc sulfate, calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid, L-leucine, L-tryptophan, L-histidine, ferrous sulfate; stabilizer: lactic acid, potassium iodide, vitamin C (sodium L-ascorbate, L-ascorbyl 6-palmitate), lactic acid bacteria (Limosilactobacillus fermentum hereditum**), vitamin E (DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate), niacin (nicotinamide), pantothenic acid (D-pantothenate, calcium), cupric sulfate, vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin A (retinyl acetate), magnesium carbonate, inositol, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), calcium L-methylfolate (Metafolin), vitamin K (phylloquinone), vitamin D (cholecalciferol), D-biotin, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

Babies generally need 5 meals a day. Each new solid meal introduced (purees/baby food) replaces one bottle of milk.
Warnings
The formula is not suitable for babies at risk of allergies; please consult a pediatrician for such cases.
Do not use HiPP AR special medical purpose formula if there is a known or suspected allergy to cow's milk protein.
The formula should provide relief to the baby after a few days of use. If there is no improvement in reflux symptoms, please contact your pediatrician again.
Infant formulas contain carbohydrates, which are an important part of a baby's nutrition. Frequent or prolonged contact between a baby's teeth and gums and carbohydrate-containing liquids could cause tooth decay and related adverse health effects. For this reason, do not give the baby the bottle as if it were a pacifier and encourage them to drink from a cup with a spout as soon as possible.
The product should not be used parenterally.
Breastfeeding is the best choice for your baby. Consult your pediatrician before giving your baby a special medical purpose formula.
Special medical purpose formulas should only be used under medical supervision.
