With the help of the practical and wide finger rest, it can be used optimally. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur supports all three layers of the tear film: the aqueous layer (thanks to hyaluronic acid and glycerol), the lipid layer (thanks to castor oil lipids), and the mucin layer (thanks to the muco-adhesive properties of hyaluronic acid). Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance also present in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, and is therefore particularly well tolerated. It is characterized by a high water retention capacity and is viscoelastic. Furthermore, hyaluronic acid adheres well to the eye surface (muco-adhesive properties) and thus increases the duration of action. Glycerol is also a natural substance in the body and an additional moisturizing factor. Thanks to these moisture-retaining and releasing properties, glycerol (together with hyaluronic acid) stabilizes the aqueous layer of the tear film. Therefore, Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur moistens, wets, and protects the eye surface, as well as providing a uniform and stable moist film on the cornea and conjunctiva. The lipids (triglycerides) of castor oil supplement the lipid layer of the tear film, stabilizing it and reducing evaporation. Taurine, another endogenous compound, is the most abundant amino acid physiologically present in the tear film and in various eye tissues, for example in the cornea, lens, retina, and vitreous body. Taurine has osmoregulatory properties, is absorbed into cells, and acts deeply. Taurine helps restore the osmotic balance disturbed by dry eye, and protects the cells of the eye surface from drying out and oxidative stress. In dry eye therapy, Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur therefore offers hydration, protection against evaporation, and osmoregulation, thanks to the triple combination of moisturizers (hyaluronic acid and glycerol), lipids, and natural taurine. It can be used in all forms of dry eye, both in cases of insufficient tear fluid production (hyposecretory form) and in cases of excessive tear evaporation due to lipid deficiency (hyper-evaporative form). The eye drops are suitable for dryness, burning, and watery eyes (paradoxical dry eye). It provides moisture, improves the quality of the tear film, and protects the eye surface. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur can be used in all forms of dry eye, for example:
- in cases of pronounced dry eye symptoms and burning;
- for watery eyes (paradoxical dry eye);
- in dry eye due to lipid deficiency-Meibomian gland dysfunction;
- in dry eye caused, for example, by Sjögren's syndrome or medication use;
- post-operatively, for example after cataract surgery, LASIK, LASEK;
- in the presence of environmental stress, for example due to wind/drafts, cold, dry air, air-conditioned rooms, or air pollution;
- in cases of fatigue and visual stress caused by prolonged vision, for example computer work, microscope work, or long car journeys;
- in cases of mechanical stress, caused for example by hard or soft contact lenses or diagnostic procedures on the eye.
Suitable for use in adolescents and adults.

Directions for use
Before first use, note the opening date in the designated space on the vial label. Wash hands and remove the protective cap before each use.
Before using the SafeDrop bottle for the first time, press it several times until the first drop is dispensed. Hold the bottle upside down. Avoid any contact of the dropper tip with fingers and the eye. Make sure your thumb rests on the wide, circular, non-slip finger support.
Alternatively, if using eye drops with contact lenses, apply one or two drops to each lens before inserting them into the eyes, instead of instilling the eye drops directly into the eyes. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur can also be applied while wearing contact lenses. After use, the multi-dose container must be closed with the protective cap.
Use the product as needed or as directed by your specialist.

Components
Lipid phase (contains: glycerol, refined castor oil, tyloxapol, Tween 80, poloxamer 188, EDTA, vitamin E acetate, tromethamine hydrochloride, tromethamine, purified water), taurine, sodium EDTA, tromethamine, sodium hyaluronate, HCI or NaOH (for pH adjustment), water for injections.

Warnings
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the components. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children should consult their doctor before using the product.
After application, temporary impairment of visual acuity (blurred vision) may occur. In this case, do not drive vehicles or operate machinery. It is advisable to wait until normal visual acuity is restored.
Immediately after applying the eye drops, transient symptoms may occur, for example mild eye burning.
Do not use if the SafeDrop multi-dose container is damaged.
Do not touch the eye with the dropper tip to avoid infections or eye injuries.
Do not touch the dropper tip with other objects or body parts to avoid product contamination.
Do not use as the sole treatment for an eye infection.
Do not use the eye drops after the expiration date, indicated on each SafeDrop vial and on the folding box.
For hygiene reasons, the same multi-dose container should not be used by more than one patient.
The product is not suitable as a contact lens storage solution.
The product must be kept out of the reach of children.
If symptoms persist during use, consult your ophthalmologist.
For external use only.
Suitable for long-term use. However, as with all illnesses, if symptoms persist, an ophthalmologist should be consulted.
If another local eye treatment is also being followed, there should be approximately 30 minutes between the two applications. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur should be applied after other products.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 5 °C and 25 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
