Description
Sterile isotonic ophthalmic solution with hyaluronic acid sodium salt (FHA 1.0), amino acids and Echinacea extract, preservative-free, useful for the hydration and lubrication of the ocular surface.
IRIDIUM A single-dose protects and lubricates the surface of the eye, providing relief from possible discomfort caused by pharmacological therapies for topical ocular pathologies.
Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide physiologically present in the human eye and has the property of adhering to the ocular surface, protecting and lubricating it.
Due to its mucoadhesive characteristics, it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilizes the tear film.
Echinacea extract has antioxidant properties and, in combination with the lubricating action of hyaluronic acid, contributes to the restoration of the altered tear film.
The formulation with amino acids further contributes to the lubrication of the ocular surface and to improve the protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
Indicated for the hydration and lubrication of the ocular surface in the presence of iatrogenic alterations of the ocular surface.

Instructions for use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 3 or more times a day.
The product can also be instilled into the eye when wearing contact lenses.
- Separate a single-dose container from the strip.
- Open it by twisting the cap.
- Apply 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac.
- Discard the closed single-dose container with the residual contents.

Components
Main component: sodium hyaluronate 0.15% (FHA 1.0).
Other components: boric acid, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, Echinacea angustifolia D.C. hydroglycolic extract, sodium chloride, glycine, L-leucine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-proline, water for injections.

Warnings
- The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
- To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid the single-dose container coming into contact with the eye or other objects.
- To avoid injury to the ocular surface, ensure the container does not come into contact with the eye during instillation.
- The product is in single-dose packaging. After administration, the residual contents of the single-dose container must be discarded as the product does not contain preservatives. Reusing residual contents could cause ophthalmic infection and/or harm to the patient.
- The product is in single-dose packaging. The volume contained in the single-dose is for a single administration.
- In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult a doctor.
- Do not use the product if the single-dose container is damaged.
- Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children.

Storage
Do not store above 25 °C. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the single-dose container. Do not use the product 6 months after opening the aluminum sachet. Do not disperse into the environment.
Post-opening validity: 6 months.
