LACRINOVA
Description
Artificial tear gel, hypoosmolar for dry eye syndrome, containing hyaluronic acid conjugated with riboflavin.
LACRINOVA solution lubricates the cornea and conjunctiva, as well as providing nourishing, protective, and antioxidant action against external environmental aggressions such as physical (thermal, traumatic), light (smartphone, TV, PC, sunlight), and chemical (liquid and gaseous pollutants) influences.
Indicated for all patients needing lubrication and reduction of oxidative stress on the ocular surface.
The product can be applied while wearing contact lenses.
Directions for use
1. Before use, remove the tamper-evident ring;
2. open the bottle and remove the protective cap;
3. gently press the bottle and instill 2 to 4 drops into each eye, or as directed by your doctor. Repeat as needed.
Close the bottle immediately after use: the remaining content can be reused for up to 2 months after first opening.
The product can be applied while wearing contact lenses.
Ingredients
Ribohyal 0.1%, vitamin E TPGS 0.2%, sodium citrate, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, purified water.
Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
- The product is for single-patient use.
- Do not use in cases of known intolerance or hypersensitivity to its components.
- Do not use the product if the packaging appears damaged or not perfectly sealed upon first opening.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
- In case of problems during use, stop treatment and consult a doctor.
- During product application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the dispenser.
- The expiry date refers to the intact product, correctly stored.
- In rare cases, corneal microcalcifications have been observed in patients treated with ophthalmic preparations containing phosphates. In such a case, immediately suspend treatment and consult your doctor.
- Before use, carefully read the instructions in the package leaflet.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
- Do not swallow. If swallowed, contact a doctor immediately.
- Do not use the product in a manner inconsistent with the instructions for use.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Reporting adverse effects contributes to the safety of the device. Any serious incidents should be reported to the Manufacturer and the Competent Authority for the country in which the device was used.
Storage
Store at a temperature between 5 and 30°C in the original packaging and keep the device away from light.
