Gel
Description
Lubricating gel for ophthalmic use.
Carbomer Gel is a viscous, hypotonic solution containing 0.2% carbomer 980.
Carbomer Gel has excellent mucoadhesive properties, lubricating the eye by uniformly coating the corneal and conjunctival surfaces.
Indicated as a lubricating ophthalmic gel to relieve symptoms of dryness, discomfort, foreign body sensation, and mild irritation caused by dry eyes.
Instructions for use
Wash hands thoroughly before use.
Remove the cap by lifting the tab of the tamper-evident seal.
Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
Hold the tube vertically and gently squeeze until a drop forms at the tip of the tube.
Instill the drop without touching the eye with the tip of the tube.
Blink two or three times to distribute the gel evenly over the eye and remove any excess from the eyelids.
Close the tube carefully, ensuring not to touch the tip of the tube with any surface (including fingers).
Instill one drop of the product into one or both eyes 3-4 times a day or as needed, depending on the discomfort experienced.
The duration of treatment may be extended beyond 30 days after consulting a doctor.
