Description
Medical device useful for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux.
The product exerts a synergistic action:
anti-reflux (thanks to sodium alginate);
antacid (thanks to sodium bicarbonate);
protective of the gastric mucosa (thanks to pure Aloe vera juice).
Indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and for the alleviation of associated symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, reflux esophagitis, gastric pyrosis, cough, and laryngopharyngeal inflammation. Mayday is also indicated in cases of gastric pyrosis due to indigestion.
It performs a mechanical action thanks to the presence of double-concentrated pure Aloe vera juice enriched with sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, and calcium carbonate. The presence of sodium bicarbonate and sodium and calcium carbonates also reduces stomach hyperacidity. The pure Aloe vera juice, due to the natural presence of polysaccharides, has a protective action on the mucous membranes because, by adhering to the walls of the esophagus and stomach, it forms a protective film capable of defending the tissues from gastric juices or irritating agents. In addition to the virtues of double-concentrated pure Aloe vera juice, there are those of sodium alginate which, in contact with the acidity of the stomach, reacts by forming a gel. The gel, by trapping the carbon dioxide bubbles released by the carbonates contained in the formulation, positions itself in the upper part of the stomach, forming a barrier that mechanically prevents the ascent of gastric juices towards the esophagus. The product does not contain water as a diluent because it is completely replaced by pure, unpasteurized, non-carbon filtered, and double-concentrated Aloe vera juice through the exclusive ReversOsmose process.

Ingredients
Aloe vera L. (Syn. Aloe barbadensis Miller)* leaf juice and inner fillet, sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate, polyacrylic acid, titanium dioxide, mint flavor, sodium propyl-P-hydroxybenzoate, sodium methyl-P-hydroxybenzoate, sucralose.

Directions for use
Warnings
The product is for oral use.
The use of this product is contraindicated in case of ascertained individual hypersensitivity or allergy to it and any of its components.
The presence of sodium requires particular attention when administering the product to those suffering from hypertension, heart or kidney failure.
During pregnancy, breastfeeding, and in children under twelve years of age, consult a doctor before use.
Do not exceed the indicated doses.
Use the product according to the instructions for use.
In case of concomitant use with other products, check for possible interactions with your doctor. The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medicines. It is therefore advisable to consult a doctor if oral medicines are taken at the same time; they should in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart.
In adolescents (12-18 years), use only if strictly necessary and under strict medical supervision.
If no improvement is observed after 7 days of treatment, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
Do not use for prolonged treatments.
Do not use the device beyond the expiry date.
Do not use if the sachet or packaging is damaged.
Each sachet is for single use and must be opened only immediately before use: do not reuse partially used sachets as this method of use could lead to the risk of ineffectiveness or contamination of the product.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
