Description
Meaquor 1000 is a food supplement of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 550 mg and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 450 mg. Each capsule contains 1000 mg of EPA+DHA. Supplementation should always be combined with an adequate diet.
- Daily intake of 250 mg of EPA+DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal heart function (1 capsule of Meaquor 1000).
- Daily intake of 2 g of EPA+DHA, for the adult population, contributes to the maintenance of normal blood triglyceride concentrations (2 capsules of Meaquor 1000).
- Daily intake of 3 g of EPA+DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure (3 capsules of Meaquor 1000).
- Daily intake of 250 mg of DHA helps maintain normal brain and visual functions (1 capsule of Meaquor 1000).

Ingredients
Fish oil concentrated in 95% omega-3 fatty acids (with antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract), bovine food gelatin capsule; firming agent: glycerol.

Directions for use
1-3 capsules daily, to be taken with a main meal.

Warnings
Do not exceed a daily dose of 5 g of combined EPA and DHA.
Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the product's components or other chemically related substances.
Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions to the product may occur; these consist of belching, flatulence, diarrhea. Such symptoms are generally a result of taking a higher dose than recommended and resolve completely with dose reduction or temporary suspension of treatment.
Simultaneous use with anticoagulant drugs may result in a modest increase in bleeding time.
