Microdacyn 60
Wound Care Hydrogel
Description
Superoxidized solution that can be applied to acute and chronic wounds, first and second-degree burns, as well as exposed joints, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons.
It can also be used for intraoperative peritoneal irrigation.
It does not develop bacterial resistance and acts as a defensive agent against neutrophils and monocytes.
It is resistant to biofilms. It promotes a moist wound environment, aiding tissue regeneration.
It is a ready-to-use wound irrigation solution with a neutral pH of 7.0.
The wound can be irrigated directly with Microdacyn 60 Wound Care up to three times a day, taking care not to rinse the wound bed for at least 15 minutes. Alternatively, the wound can also be cleaned with a gauze soaked in Microdacyn 60 Wound Care.
Technical characteristics
The use of Microdacyn 60 Wound Care eliminates the unpleasant odor caused by necrotic tissue and bacterial colonization. The reduction of odors can be explained by the action of free radicals, induced by the neutral pH of Microdacyn 60 Wound Care, which counteracts the putrefactive substances of necrotic tissue.
The use of Microdacyn 60 Wound Care in skin lesions improves the vascularization of the wound bed through increased capillary perfusion and accelerated development of neovascularization.
Microdacyn 60 Wound Care is biocompatible for the indicated use, does not irritate human skin, eyes, or throat, and has no sensitizing effects on the skin.
Instructions for use
Acute and chronic lesions, ulcers, cuts, surgical wounds, and other open wounds:
Use Microdacyn 60 Wound Care directly from the original packaging, without transferring it to other containers.
For irrigation of the wound bed and for debridement, apply Microdacyn 60 Wound Care directly to the wound. A gauze soaked in the solution can also be used. This procedure leads to the elimination of all cellular debris and most microorganisms. Do not dry or rinse Microdacyn 60 Wound Care.
Failure to observe the application times can lead to recurrence of wound infection and reduce healing times.
Use Microdacyn 60 Wound Care at each dressing change (1 to 3 times a day).
Gauze pads soaked in Microdacyn 60 Wound Care are easier to remove.
Burns:
Use Microdacyn 60 Wound Care directly from the original packaging, without transferring it to other containers.
Wash the burned area thoroughly with Microdacyn 60 Wound Care, applying it directly to the burned tissue. To mechanically clean the wound, a gauze impregnated with Microdacyn 60 Wound Care can also be used. This procedure leads to the elimination of all cellular debris and most microorganisms.
Apply the gauze impregnated with Microdacyn 60 Wound Care to the tissue for the first time for 5-15 minutes. Keep the burn hydrated and moistened with the application of a gauze impregnated with Microdacyn 60 Wound Care. Perform this procedure up to 3 times a day. Then reduce the application to once a day when exudates are significantly reduced and in the granulation phase of the tissue.
