Description
Modulen IBD supports the nutrition of individuals affected by inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Under medical prescription, it is possible to completely replace one's diet for short periods (6-8 weeks) or supplement it with Modulen IBD. Transforming Growth Factor-beta2, a cytokine present in acid casein and abundant in Modulen IBD, has anti-inflammatory activity. Therefore, patients over 5 years of age suffering from Crohn's disease will benefit within a few weeks, alleviating symptoms and promoting the healing of the intestinal mucosa.

Directions for use
If taken as a simple supplement during a remission phase of the disease, 200 g to 300 g of product diluted in a quantity of water ranging from 850 ml to 750 ml, depending on the concentration prescribed by the physician, will be sufficient; however, if exclusively Modulen IBD is used for nutrition during the acute phase of the disease, the necessary quantity will be 400 g per day, equivalent to one jar. If necessary, Modulen IBD can be administered enterally. The beverage can also be flavored by adding freeze-dried coffee, fruit pulp, or defatted cocoa.
It can also be taken in addition to medical pharmacological therapy. It can be used by individuals aged 5 years and older.
