Description
Food for special medical purposes with L-methylfolate calcium, B vitamins, and zinc.
Product with high L-methylfolate content for the dietary management of subjects with hyperhomocysteinemia resulting from a confirmed genetic deficiency of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR). In the presence of specific coenzymes, vitamin B12, B6, B2, and zinc, L-methylfolate can provide the methyl group necessary for the reconversion of homocysteine to methionine, even in the presence of the genetic defect.
Ingredients
Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate; coating agent: acetylated starch; zinc oxide; coating agent: talc; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; coating agents: calcium carbonate, glycerol; anti-caking agents: talc, vegetable magnesium stearate; L-methylfolate calcium, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin); colorants: iron oxides; vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
Gluten-free.
Naturally lactose-free.
