Powdered food for special medical purposes, nutritionally complete, able to meet the nutritional needs of children aged 0 to 36 months in case of cow's milk protein allergy.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains hydrolyzed proteins (casein hydrolysate) for better digestibility and tolerability. NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains a unique, patented blend of thickeners that combines the qualities of starch and dietary fibers.

Directions for use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
Clean and sterilize the bottle, nipple and all materials used. Boil water for 5 minutes and let it cool down to 40°C, or heat low-mineral water (from a newly opened bottle) to 40°C. Pour the required amount of water into the bottle. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the scoop included in the package. Level each scoop with a clean, dry knife without pressing the powder. Close the bottle with the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized nipple to the bottle. Let it cool down to a temperature of 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by putting a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.

Reconstitution (13.5%): 1 level, unpacked scoop (4.5 g) per 30 ml of water. Use only the scoop provided with the product. The number of meals should be adapted to the infant's appetite on the advice of the doctor.

Warnings
Breast milk is the best food for infants. If breast milk is not possible or sufficient, infant formula can only be used under medical advice.
Inadequate preparation and storage of any infant formula could pose health risks.
Use exclusively under medical supervision and only in children who show the symptoms for which the product is intended.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO can be used as the sole source of nutrition up to six months of age if breastfeeding is not possible. After the sixth month, on medical advice, NOVALAC Allernova PRO will be integrated into a diversified diet. It is essential to carefully follow the doctor's recommendations regarding dietary diversification. In particular, it is recommended to delay the introduction of potentially allergenic foods such as eggs, fish or meat.
Do not introduce products containing milk proteins into the child's diet (cereal flours with milk, dairy products...) without medical advice.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO should not be taken in case of glucose-galactose malabsorption.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains phenylalanine.
Do not use beyond the date indicated on the bottom of the package.
Close the can after each use with the plastic lid.
Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before the meal. Each meal should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused if it remains in the bottle after feeding. Discard any remaining amount.
Due to its particular composition, NOVALAC Allernova PRO has a typical appearance, smell and taste, different from those of classic infant formulas.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO may naturally contain lighter aggregates consisting of dietary fibers, which do not affect the quality of the product.
Consumption of this product may cause the appearance of greener and less firm stools compared to a classic formula, but without causing discomfort to the infant.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Do not add sugar.
The product should not be administered parenterally.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 weeks.
