Description
Novalac Anti-Regurgitation is a powdered food for special medical purposes containing starch, indicated to meet the nutritional needs of children from 0 to 36 months in case of regurgitation. Novalac can be the sole source of nutrition for infants from 0 to 6 months if breastfeeding is not possible. Subsequently, and on medical advice, Novalac Anti-Regurgitation will be integrated into the child's diversified diet.
Ingredients
Skimmed milk; lactose (milk); vegetable oils (palm, soy, coconut); corn starch, fish oil (DHA) (milk carrier); choline bitartrate; emulsifier (soy lecithin); calcium salts of citric acid; vitamins: vitamin C (sodium L-ascorbate), vitamin E (DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate), pantothenic acid (D-pantothenate, calcium), niacin (nicotinamide), vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), thiamine (thiamine hydrochloride), riboflavin, vitamin A (retinyl acetate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), folate (folic acid), vitamin K (phytomenadione), vitamin D (cholecalciferol), D-biotin, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin); inositol; L-cystine; calcium chloride; L-tryptophan; potassium chloride; oil extracted from Mortierella alpina (ARA) (milk carrier); calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid; sodium chloride; taurine; sodium salts of orthophosphoric acid; ferrous sulfate; L-carnitine; magnesium oxide; zinc sulfate, potassium citrate; antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract; sodium selenite; cupric sulfate; potassium iodide; manganese sulfate.

Directions for use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat, and all materials used.
Bring water to a boil for 5 minutes and let it cool down to 40 °C, or heat oligomineral water (from a freshly opened bottle) to 40 °C.
Pour the required amount of water into the bottle.
Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the scoop included in the package. Level each scoop with a dry, clean knife without compressing the powder.
Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding lump formation. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
Let it cool down to a temperature of 37 °C. Check the bottle's temperature by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.
Average feeding schedule:
*as part of a diversified diet.
Reconstitution (13%): 1 level, uncompressed scoop (4.3 g) for every 30 ml of water.
Use only the scoop provided with the product.
The number of meals should be adjusted to the baby's appetite, on the advice of a doctor.
Warnings
Do not use beyond the date indicated on the bottom of the can.
Completely remove the foil seal upon first opening. Close the can after each use with the plastic lid.
Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before the meal.
Each meal should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused if left in the bottle after feeding. Discard any remaining amount.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Do not add sugar.
The product is not suitable for tube feeding.
The product is not suitable for parenteral administration.
Due to its particular composition, it may be necessary to shake Novalac Anti-Regurgitation more than usual to achieve complete dissolution of the powder, and in any case, the powder may have a different consistency than a standard formula.
To facilitate feeding, it is recommended to use an appropriate teat.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination, at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C.
Shelf life when unopened: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 weeks.
