Novalac Anti Constipation is a special medical purpose food in powder form indicated to meet the nutritional needs of children aged 0 to 36 months in cases of constipation, slow intestinal transit and hard stools. Novalac Anti Constipation has a specific composition of minerals and carbohydrates (lactose only) able to regulate intestinal transit by increasing the water content in the stools, softening them and stimulating intestinal transit.
Novalac Anti Constipation can be the sole source of nutrition for infants aged 0 to 6 months, if breastfeeding is not possible. Subsequently, and on medical advice, Novalac Anti Reflux will be integrated into the child's diversified diet.

Skimmed milk; milk proteins; vegetable oils (palm, soy, coconut); lactose (milk), calcium salts of citric acid; fish oil (DHA) (milk carrier), potassium citrate; emulsifier (soy lecithin); calcium chloride; potassium chloride; calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid; choline bitartrate; sodium salts of orthophosphoric acid; L-tyrosine; vitamins: vitamin C (sodium L-ascorbate), vitamin E (DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate), pantothenic acid (D-pantothenate, calcium), niacin (nicotinamide), thiamine (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin A (retinyl acetate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), riboflavin, vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), folate (folic acid), vitamin K (phylloquinone), vitamin D (cholecalciferol), D-biotin, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin); L-phenylalanine; sodium chloride; magnesium oxide; inositol; oil extracted from Mortierella alpina (ARA) (milk carrier), taurine; L-tryptophan; ferrous sulfate; L-carnitine; zinc sulfate; sodium selenite; antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract; cupric sulfate; potassium iodide; manganese sulfate.

Instructions for use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all materials used.
Boil water for 5 minutes and let it cool down to 40°C, or heat low-mineral water (from a newly opened bottle) to 40°C.
Pour the required amount of water into the bottle.
Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the measuring spoon included in the package. Level each scoop with a dry, clean knife without pressing the powder.
Close the bottle with the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding lump formation. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
Allow to cool to a temperature of 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by putting a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.
Average feeding schedule:
*as part of a diversified diet.
Reconstitution (13%): 1 level, unpacked scoop (4.3 g) for every 30 ml of water.
Use only the measuring spoon provided with the product.
The number of meals should be adapted to the baby's appetite on medical advice.
Following medical approval, it is advisable to introduce Novalac Anti Constipation gradually, according to the following guidelines:
- 1st day: every second bottle;
- 2nd day: every bottle.
Warnings
Do not use beyond the date indicated on the bottom of the can.
Completely remove the foil at first opening. Close the can after each use with the plastic lid.
Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the meal.
Each meal should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused if it remains in the bottle after feeding. Discard any leftover amount.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Do not add sugar.
The product is not suitable for tube feeding.
The product is not suitable for parenteral administration.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
Shelf life unopened: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 weeks.
