Description
Cream with 30% lipostabilized pure urea. It is a keratolytic treatment for dry and scaly skin layers and extensive or localized skin thickening of the foot. Used regularly, it gives feet a well-groomed, smooth, and velvety appearance, helping to make the skin clean, elastic, and hydrated. It is non-greasy and quickly absorbed by the skin. Its innovative formula also offers a refreshing and soothing action. Urea is an organic compound that, when used topically, can have a moisturizing or keratolytic effect, depending on the concentration used. The moisturizing effect is achieved using low concentrations and is due to an increase in water binding sites in the stratum corneum and a reduction in transepidermal water dispersion. The keratolytic and keratoreducing effect is obtained at higher concentrations (30-50%), and the mechanism appears to be the alteration, through the breaking of hydrogen bonds, of the quaternary structure of the keratin in the stratum corneum. Urea is thus able to denature and disperse keratin and thin the stratum corneum without damaging the skin barrier.

Instructions for use
Apply 1 or 2 times a day to clean, dry skin. Massage until completely absorbed. Temporary tingling sensations may occur on more sensitive skin.
