SPRAY
Description
Preventive spray. Ready-to-use, no-rinse repellent product, equipped with a spray nozzle to apply it directly to the hair, to prevent re-infestation by human head lice (Pediculus humanus capitis) only after pediculicide treatment. It should be applied to the hair, nape of the neck, and behind the ears.
How to use
Make sure there are no lice present. Use a pediculicide first. Apply the product evenly to clean, dry, or towel-dried hair near the scalp, ensuring to treat the nape of the neck and the area behind the ears first. Then spray over all the hair like hairspray. Make sure the scalp and hair are sufficiently moistened. The application should be repeated after washing the hair.
Application doses:
- adults: up to 1.05 g of product (9 sprays per application);
- children aged 0 to 11 years: 0.5 g (4 sprays per application).
In cases where the biocide is applied to children under 11 years of age, the product must be applied by an adult. Usually, the product should be applied only once a day. In case of reapplication, observe the maximum permitted number of applications per day:
- adults and children over 1 year of age: 3 times a day;
- children aged between 0 and 1 year: 2 times a day.
For continuous protection: reapply at the latest after 2 days, on clean, dry, or towel-dried hair. Reapply sooner if hair has been in contact with water (such as after rain or swimming) until there is no longer a risk of infestation.
Warnings
Use the repellent safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Do not spray on the face or apply to the eye area. Protect the child's eyes and protect the child from inhaling the product during spraying. Do not apply to cuts, wounds, or irritated skin. For external use only. Do not invert. Shake before use. Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid breathing vapours/sprayed product. Synthetic materials must be protected during spraying. Do not discharge superfluous liquids into drains.
