Description
Dietary supplement based on saw palmetto, pumpkin seeds, beta-sitosterols, vitamin E, zinc, lycopene, and selenium, which promotes the normal trophism and physiological function of the prostate gland.
The main component of Prostavir is Serenoa repens (also known as saw palmetto), which has extensive literature behind it and, more importantly, decades of practical use. The primary action of saw palmetto is to inhibit the conversion of Testosterone into Dihydrotestosterone, which is responsible for the hyperplasia and hypertrophy of prostate gland cells. This activity occurs through the inhibition of the 5-alpha reductase enzyme.
Pumpkin seed extracts, another component of Prostavir, have a synergistic action with saw palmetto. The dosage of the dry extract is 150 mg. Another component of Prostavir is beta-sitosterols extracted from maritime pine. These components act directly on the prostatic parenchyma, reducing symptoms in terms of both urination frequency and urinary volume. These active ingredients are combined with a pool of antioxidants such as vitamin E, lycopene, zinc, and selenium.

Directions for use
It is recommended to take 2 tablets daily during the attack phase and 1 tablet daily for maintenance.
It may be useful to combine with Vigordem treatment.
