Transparent Eye Shield

The eye shield can be used, when prescribed by a doctor, after ophthalmic surgery and should be positioned so that the dome faces outwards to allow the eyelid full movement and protect the operated area. The eye shield is designed to be used interchangeably on both eyes. It is made of non-toxic, hypoallergenic, unbreakable, and transparent material. Contact between the shield and the skin is made atraumatic by the rounding of the contact edge. The nine holes located in the center of the shield have a diameter of 5 mm to prevent the introduction of blunt objects. The two 2 mm diameter holes on the sides of the shield are designed to allow the insertion of an elastic band to avoid the use of adhesive tape to secure the device to the patient's skin, which could cause irritation. The shield is constructed to withstand a crushing force of 25 kg. For hygienic reasons, the eye shield should be used by only one person.

Instructions for Use
For reuse, thorough washing with warm water and an antiseptic detergent is recommended. Do not sterilize in an autoclave.

Do not expose to heat sources to avoid deformation and deterioration.
