Description
Nasal irrigation device with various sterile solutions. The isotonic solution is indicated for daily hygiene of the nasal mucous membranes, to prevent obstruction due to stagnant catarrhal secretions, breathing difficulties caused by colds, coughs, sinusitis, post-operative recovery, otitis, asthma, bronchitis, nasal polyps, allergens or environmental contaminants such as dust, smoke, fumes, viruses, and bacteria.
Instructions for use
For Adults and Children (over eight years old), 1 to 2 irrigations per day are recommended or as otherwise specifically instructed by a doctor. When the nasal mucosa is irritated, a slight burning sensation may be felt during the first wash.
Carefully remove the protective pouch from the bag.
Warm the bag with the solution to approximately 37 °C by immersing it in hot water.
Unscrew the protective cap.
Open the packages containing the spray nozzle and the syringe.
Break the fracture cone of the bag (inside the tube) and screw the syringe onto the bag's tube.
Draw up the solution and unscrew the syringe.
Screw the dispenser onto the syringe.
Lean your head forward over the sink, lower than your shoulders.
Bring the dispenser to your nose and gently press it against one nostril. Inject the solution and breathe through your mouth throughout the treatment.
Warnings
- If during the irrigation treatment you experience symptoms such as ear discomfort or a feeling of blockage, stop the treatment.
- Do not tilt your head to the side during treatment.
- If small amounts of solution drain into your throat causing coughing, stop the treatment, expel or swallow. The solution in small doses is not toxic.
- For children, due to the difficulty in keeping their mouth open, it is recommended to keep their head forward and lower than their shoulders.
- For disabled individuals, the elderly, and children, assistance from another adult is recommended during use.
- Do not use in case of ongoing or recently concluded epistaxis (nosebleed).
- Do not use in case of specific hypersensitivity to any component.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- Do not use if the device is damaged.
- The product is for external use only.
- The solution must be used immediately after opening.
- The sterility and expiry dates indicated on the device and solution refer to intact and correctly stored products.
- The device is intended for single-use and single-patient use.
- After use, rinse the device inside and out with normal drinking water and dispose of it according to proper disposal regulations.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose, only if it is intact.
- After use, do not discard the bag and device into the environment.
Storage
Store between 5 °C-35 °C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
