RIGENOMA
BANDAGE
Description
Bandage consisting of an elastic support impregnated with ozoile* (stable ozonides). It is indicated for optimising the quality of damaged skin and restoring its good functional state. It reduces lymphatic and blood stasis, improves local microcirculation, promotes the absorption of any oedema, optimises scar management, and prevents and counteracts keloid formation. Ozoile protects, elasticises and moisturises the underlying skin, releases oxygen, generates moderate oxidative stress capable of regenerating tissues, and counteracts degenerative processes. Ozoile creates a lipid film with a breathable barrier/protective effect and, together with its oxidising nature, generates a hostile microenvironment for pathogenic microbial proliferation and a favourable one for microcirculation activation. The moderate oxidative stress generated by stable Ozonides, acting on the RedOx balance, promotes tissue repair processes and correct healing.
It represents an effective solution to support compromised skin and improve its functional recovery, ensuring protection and preventing further alterations. Ideal for compression bandages, it is indicated in phlebology for conditions such as chronic venous insufficiency, passive oedema, thrombophlebitis and phlebothrombosis. Also ideal for post-surgical wounds.
*Erbagil patented formula.
Instructions for use
Apply the bandage with decreasing compression from the foot or ankle up to the calf. Avoid forming creases that could cause further pressure sores. Maintain the correct position of the limb during bandaging. Secure the bandage firmly without impeding movement. Cover the bandage with tubular gauze or German cotton and with a self-adhesive or elastic-compressive bandage.
In the case of inelastic and non-elastic-compressive application, use the bandage starting from the metatarsal heads up to the peroneal apophysis, with turns overlapping by 50%; once the peroneal apophysis is reached, return to the foot using the entire bandage. Complete the dressing with German cotton and a self-adhesive bandage in the same manner described above.
Components
Ozoile (Stable Ozonides); elastic support: polyamide 30%/viscose 70%, elongation [%]: approx. 60%.
