Saginil in
Vaginal Cannulas
Description
Medical device that normalizes the reactivity of the vaginal mucosa. It is usefully indicated in the treatment of symptoms of mucosal hyper-reactivity induced by the use of antiseptics during vaginitis and by the insertion of contraceptive systems. It is particularly indicated in controlling vaginal symptoms resulting from the use of anti-estrogen drugs for adjuvant treatment in women with breast cancer.
Saginil in vaginal cannulas works to maintain the morpho-functional integrity of the vaginal mucosa to counteract the onset and amplification of the sequence of tissue events that locally characterize mast cell hyper-reactivity.
Saginil in vaginal cannulas can also control the recurrence phenomena that frequently occur after vaginitis of different etiologies.
Directions for use
In case of treatment for vaginitis, it is recommended to use one cannula every other day (preferably in the evening) for 10 or 20 days or according to the specialist's instructions. In case of treatment in women on anti-estrogen therapy, one cannula per day is recommended until symptoms are attenuated or remitted. The product can be used in combination with ongoing pharmacological treatment.
1) Wash hands thoroughly. For first use, unscrew the tube cap, turn it, and use the pointed part to pierce the aluminum seal. Do not use if the seal is broken.
2) Remove a cannula from the protective wrapper and screw it onto the mouth of the tube, making sure to keep the two components aligned.
3) Press the tube to fill the cannula with gel until it is completely full, i.e., until the plunger stops.
4) Unscrew the cannula from the tube and replace the cap on the tube.
5) For application, lie down, gently insert the end of the cannula deep into the vagina, and empty the contents by slowly pushing the plunger all the way in. Remove the cannula and discard it after use.
Warnings
Avoid contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly in case of accidental eye contact. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. The product is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Use preferably by the date indicated on the package.
Saginil in vaginal cannulas does not interact with pharmacological treatments commonly used in the therapy of vaginitis; however, consult your doctor for its concomitant use. During the treatment period, it is recommended to use Saginil Intimate Cleanser.
